  HARPENDENARTSCLUB
HARRY DOBKIN
I became interested in photography at a very early age.  It was when I first saw my dad taking pictures with his Box Brownie - I was five years old.  When I left Art College I went to work in my great uncle's portrait studio in Oxford Street, London.  From there I enlisted as a photographer in the Royal Air Force. Afterwards I continued my career as a photographer with Ford Motor Company and Vauxhall Motors and then as a newspaper cameraman.  Now retired, I just enjoy taking pictures for pleasure and I use my photographs to produce digital images that I transfer onto canvas and paint using acrylic.
To see more of my work have a look in my website.
