Harpenden Arts Club Annual Art Exhibition 2017

What a fantastic exhibition that was! The artwork on display gets better and better each year, and looked just wonderful, so thank you so much to all the artists who submitted work to the exhibition. We are so lucky to have such a talented group of local artists here in the club, here are some of the comments written by visitors to the exhibition:
 “Best show ever! Well done!”
“Excellent show – lots of variation!”
“Very good year – impressive standard.”
“Lovely! So many inspiring, relaxing and thoughtful pictures.”
“Terrific range of styles and medium!”
“A very exciting show, well displayed.”
“ A great show, lovely to see local talent.”
“Beautiful pictures, displayed with flair!”
It appears that we are gaining a reputation for being a very worthwhile art exhibition to go to see. Visitor numbers are up yet again on last year, this time by around 30% on last year’s numbers. Feedback from stewards was that there was a constant stream of visitors throughout the weekend, although quieter on the Friday, as is often the case. So we would like to say a big thank you to everyone for helping to spread the word, for talking to your friends and neighbours and inviting them along, for handing out flyers and sending on emails about the exhibition and sharing the information on social media. It really helps our publicity efforts!
